Celebrity Vintage Posters: Beautifying your Living Space

Almost every one of us has gone through this phase. Most of us have done something about it. Some simply wish they could also defy the mundane wall hangings and replace them with things that display their adulation for their idols. How do I get easy Dita Von Teese hair?

I love her hair and how she sports the vintage style everyday.
I try to do vintage as much as possible but I can never get the hair right and I can't afford to wear clothes that are 'vintage' everyday.

Finger waves and pincurls take such a long time. I can't even imagine how some women did this every week years ago because that was the only way!

Pincurls are easier to do than finger waves, but it still takes a VERY long time. There's a good chance that Dita only shampoos her hair once a week (just like women did when pincurling was popular) to keep the curls in. You need long metal clips called wave clips to do it. When your hair is damp (not soaked, but not dry either) roll small sections of hair around your fingers, slide it off and clip it. It should just look like a little O dangling from your head. Then just keep doing it with the rest of your hair. It's extremely time consuming.

An easier way would be to wrap sections of your hair around a 1"-1.5" barrel curling iron without using the clip. Literally just wrap it around. It doesn't get the exact same look, but it's similar, and people won't know the difference.

Then part your hair to the side.

I've never successfully done fingerwaves. I try and they never stay, so I can't help with that. Go to a hair salon and ask them to show you. It's mandatory in beauty school to learn them, so all hairdressers know how.
